Delta Electrical System: "Delta" reports (electrical or mechanical) are used to document temperature differentials (ΔT). Temperature differentials can be measured between similar components or ambient. Delta Reports are the most common report format used for electrical and mechanical inspections.
Absolute Electrical System: Absolute Electrical reports use an IEEE formula to calculate Tmax Corrected values for inspected components. This formula may be used to determine if a component is running within its specified temperature limits and may be used for components operating at less than full load or at various ambient temperatures. Useful for QA inspections, Tmax Corrected can be applied to electrical components that do not exhibit obvious hot spots or thermal anomalies. Max Electro/Mechanical System: This report type is used when trend the same exception or problem over a period of time. Care should be taken to use the same viewing angle, imager settings, and note any changed environmental conditions. Roof Moisture: A Roof Moisture Report is generated when you need to document the results of an Infrared Flat Roof Moisture Survey performed on a low slope or flat roof surface. "Moisture" in the title indicates that invasive testing was performed to verify that moisture was present in the roof system.
Roof Anomaly: A Roof Anomaly Report should be used when you are documenting the results of an Infrared Flat Roof Survey where invasive testing was NOT performed.
Structural: A Structural Report documents the findings of Infrared Thermal Anomaly Survey performed on infrastructure that is not a building envelop or roof system. Examples would be a parking lot deck or a bridge surface.
Building Envelope: An Infrared Building Envelope Survey template is used to document the results of an infrared inspection performed on any portion of the building enclosure except the roof surface. The inspection can be done from the interior or exterior, and can include walls, windows, doors, and ceilings.
Pest: The Infrared Pest Survey template is used to document the results of an infrared inspection performed to identify thermal patterns associated with presence of pests or damage caused by pests.
Underground Piping System: This template is used to document the results of an infrared inspection performed on a concealed pipe system. The Piping System can be buried below surfaces like pavement or grass; or buried in concrete, for example.
Steam System: This template is used to document the results of an Infrared Steam System inspection. This report includes temperature differentials (ΔT) criteria.
Pipe: This template is used to document the results of an infrared inspection performed on a pipe system that is not concealed. Examples would be a refrigeration line or a steam supply or condensate return line. Lines can be insulated or uninsulated.
